Simply earn that Bread

I recently won this "Bread" digi from Sasayaki Glitter, and this idea immediately popped into my head!

I made the sentiment using the font CrimefighterBB; the second part was inspired by a sentiment by TLC Creations. After printing the text, I stamped on the word bubbles ("Nubes habladoras" from Latina Crafter) & fussy-cut them.
The city stamps (Mark's Finest Papers) are heat-embossed  in a grape jellyish powder onto a peanut butter-colored paper (CTMH).

The yellow is inspired by butter; the orange is inspired by the lard that comes with toast in Southern Spain where I grew up. Or I guess they could be marmalade! The white background is maybe mayo?

Graduation Bouquet -- CAS + a surprise inside at Crafter's Cafe

We have an especially fun challenge for you at The Crafter's Cafe Challenge: CAS + a Bright Surprise inside. Here's the recipe: Make a card, with the front in a CAS style with mainly a black and white sentiment, but decorate the inside with bright colors, embellishments, etc. Doesn't that sound fun‽

I used "Spring Cart" from Robin's Fetish for this graduation pop-up card.

I made a little diploma scroll from copy paper, distressed the edges with Antique Linen ink, and stamped one of my favorite sentiments in black (Clear Art Stamps). I made the mortarboard with a square of black cardstock, a black gemstone, and a die-cut tassel.

The Sky's the Limit! - Congratulations at Crafting with Dragonflies

This fortnight at Crafting with Dragonflies our theme is Congratulations. It's the season for graduation cards,so this was made to work for almost graduate:

I made the mortarboard with a square of black cardstock, a black brad, and a die-cut tassel. The background is a white-frosted blue cardstock (Core'Dinations) that I embossed with a cloud folder & sanded. The embellishments are adhered with foam for a bit of dimension.

This design is inspired by traditional mortarboard toss.

Simply Shocked

Here I am again with a CAS card featuring this "Positive Attitude Greeting" from DRS Designs:

My overall design was inspired by Job notices that pop up as new graduates enter the workforce this time of year. I cut the tabs on the bottom with scissors,  but the dashed line is cut with a die. I had some fun with staples on the top, and backed it with kraft cardstock.

The shocked secretary is from Clear Art Stamps, and is stamped, like the sentiment, with a blue dye ink. The grid (Viva Las VagaStamps) is stamped in Tumbled Glass distress ink.

This is about as CAS as I get!
