- Gift Card Holder Tag created with one sheet of cardstock
- The gift card pocket must have at least 2 of its corners punched with a corner punch
- At least 3 handmade flowers
- The background of the tag must be made using an inking technique
I just happened to have some scrap from a project I'm working on that was perfect for the flowers: shades of orange printed on vellum. In the spirit of the challenge, I didn't use a template and hand-cut them. They're affixed with ZipDry and hope, both of which seem to be working.
I added an embossed sentiment at the bottom, in clear yellow.
Although I'm 33, I've somehow gotten on the AARP mailing list (the American Association of Retired Persons, a lobbying/informational group for persons over 50), & in between the constant mailings advertising HoverRound and Not Being A Burden To My GrandChildren, I've amassed a small collection of plastic AARP membership cards. Honestly, they come in so handy for projects like this, as they're perfect dummy gift cards. And because the Universe works this way, I just received a brand-new one in the mail today, which is featured in the photo!
Supplies: Foreground Forest clear stamp set from Raisin Boat, Recollections and Hammermill cardstocks, ZipDry glue, Offray ribbon, MS detailing scissors & border punch, Versamark watermark ink, Stampendous clear Lemon embossing powder, Marvy heat tool, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Fiskars corner punch & papercutter
You made me laugh, you really did when I read that bit about you been on the mailing list of retired people at 33!!! Well, there is always a silver lining and yours is the cards you are amassing!
ReplyDeleteThis tag is gorgeous and those flowers are the sweetest. And handmade at that. The embossed sentiment adds to the bright and cheery appeal of the tag.
Hope you are enjoying retirement! Lol! Just kidding,
Monica
