I had so much fun making my Story Time card with Nighty Night by Pookie Designs for this week's Use a Digi Challenge at OSAAT that I just had to use it again! I don't know why, but I just had to make those slippers into Pikachus!
I typed up the sentiment and printed it onto shiny white cardstock (Recollections), and heat-embossed it in dark blue (Stampendous). I then stamped the "Dreams" clear stamp (K&Co maybe?) on top, in bright blue ink (Memento). I used a Marvy punch for the corners.
I colored the image with Copics, and added some detail with glitter pens. The dress is paper-pieced with a SMIRK paper, and the pillow is from a Graphic 45 paper.
I made the Poké Balls by cutting 3/4-inch circles on my Cricut, using the Camping Critters cartridge. I cut the circles in half, glued them to the card, and strung a a ribbon across them (it's actually a white ribbon that I colored with a black Copic marker). I added some black gemstones in the centers.
The background was embossed in my new favorite Cuttlebug folder, the Charles. The adhesive gem swirls are from my stash.
OSAAT is also having a DT call; love to have you on the team!
