Sweet Sunny Wishes -- Coffee Loving Cardmakers

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/

It's that time again: the Autumn/Winter Blog Hop with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers! I always enjoy playing along.

I was super inspired my the Sketch + Primary Colors challenge at AAA Cards; I don't usually do classically CAS cards, but I couldn't resist this challenge! I had lots of fun with it.

I used a Shaker Creator set from Tonic Studios for my focal image. The strip of paper is from my stash; I inked it with yellow. The sentiment on the inside of the cup is heat-embossed in white; the other sentiment is stamped with my all-time favorite ink pad.  I filled the shaker with
red & yellow fruit shapes from Queen & Co.

Butterflies & Caffeine -- Blog Hop at Coffee Loving Cardmakers

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2020/05/2020-spring-summer-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/
It's that time again: the Spring/Summer Blog Hop at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers! I always enjoy playing along.

I've been cleaning out my stash, and found this sweet coffee cup die-cut sentiment (Heartfelt Creations, Stampin' Up!) so I made a shaker card with my favorite kawaii coffee, woodgrain, and yellow-patterned papers, and coffee-scented washi tape. I filled the shaker with die-cut coffee beans (Elizabeth Crafts) and tiny butterflies (Scraps of Love).

Many thanks to all who make this Blog Hop possible!

Frosty Friends -- Coffee Loving Cardmakers

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/
It's that time again: the Autumn/Winter Blog Hop with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers! I always enjoy playing along.

The sentiment is from a Stamps of Life set. The adorable paper is from Doodlebug Designs. The digi stamp is "Snowman Cocoa" from Bugaboo Stamps (although I'm not sure that it's available anymore.) The coffee bean die cuts are from an Elizabeth Crafts set; the shapes are from a Sizzix set.

Am I the only one who like iced coffee drinks even in cold weather‽ The original digi stamp has the snowman holding a stack of marshmallows, but I fussy-cut the frosty beverage from the Doodlebug paper for a little personalization!

Pilin' On the Hot Beverages

Our new theme at Pile It On is Beverage. You may enter the challenge as many times you like, as long as you are inspired by at least one other Challenge theme. We're sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.

My Mom gave me this "Special Tea" Heartfelt Creations rubber stamp set forever ago, as in years, and this is my first time inking it up!

On the inside, I used the pop-up mechanism from the Cup Pop Stand die set from Karen Burniston/Elizabeth Craft Designs, but used a die/stamp set from Heartfelt Creations for the pop-up piece (more recent acquisition, but not by much, and I use this all the time.) The mother's day sentiment is a rubber stamp from Fiskars. For the pop-up piece, I used a a quilted paper piece I made eons ago that was just waiting for a good home!

Warm Coffee Wishes -- Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Winter Blog Hop

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2018/11/2018-fall-winter-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/
It's time for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Winter Blog Hop, and I always enjoy playing along.

I made a quick but cute dimensional card using the Tree Fold-a-long die set from Sizzix and coffee cup dies from the Hanging Charm Pull Tab die set by Karen Burniston/Elizabeth Crafts Designs.

I cut the coffee cup and sleeves from scraps of Xmas paper and adhered them to the card with star-shaped brads.

For the inside, I used my favorite winter sentiment stamp, heat-embossing it in red. I heat-embossed the stars on the tops of the trees in glittery white powder.

Sunshine & Caffeine -- No Square or Rectangle Cards at International Art & Soul

Our theme this fortnight at the International Art & Soul Challenge is Shaped Cards + Oval/Circles.

I used I used the Love in a Cup digi stamp from ArtByMiran. The coffee cup was made with a Heartfelt Creations die/stamp set. I colored the image, background of the cup, and the border of the frame with Copic markers. The frame was a gift from a dear crafting friend who has now passed away, so it's very special to me. She made it from foam with a mold. The doilies are from Recollections. The card base was made with green cardstock & a stitched circle die. The sentiment is from the Let It Shine set by Verve Stamps.

Inspiration/Challenges:

Cocoa Loving Cardmaker

I always have fun hopping & making cards for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Winter Blog Hop. This time, I tried my hand at another card featuring a favorite winter beverage, hot cocoa.

I stamped the hot cocoa scene (Imaginisce) onto kraft paper & colored it with colored pencils. I haven't done this in a while, and forgot how much fun it is! I sprayed it with AquaNet hairspray to set the pencils and make the colors pop.

The vertical strip was created with white felt & a die-cut (Pink & Main).

Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Winter Blog Hop

It's time for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers' Winter Blog Hop, and I always enjoy playing along.

Today, December 13, is National Hot Cocoa Day, so here's a celebratory card! For the front of the shaker, I used the actual pre-printed packaging that came with the stamp (Imaginisce). I filled the shaker with red star sequins, and red, white & gold microbeads.

I used more of the beautiful papers for the inside. I stamped the hot cocoa onto the message section & colored it with Copic markers.

Simply caffeinated & a little shaky

Have you been hopping with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers? Can you believe all the creative ideas‽ Of course I had to make another project! This time I made a pair shaker cards, using my Silhouette Cameo and Coffee Cup cut files by 17turtles/Juliana Michaels.

I filled the shakers with gold microbeads & Apricot-colored glitter. The sentiments are from Doctor Digi's House of Stamps, and are printed on a shiny yellow paper. The sleeves are cut from a striped vellum. The lids & cup backgrounds are two tones of shiny white papers. I used a coffee beans die from Elizabeth Craft Designs to decorate the glittered paper front panels.

Pumpkin Spice Season -- Coffee Lover's Magic Card

Happy Autumn! A new season means a new Blog Hop with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers, and I always enjoy playing along. I created this Magic Card using a template I created in SCAL and the Coffee Cup Shaker Box Card by 17turtles/Juliana Michaels.

The sentiments are from Doctor Digi's House of Stamps; I colorized them in Photoshop & added the gradient background in InDesign. The coffee beans die is from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I used an actual coffee stir stick thingy as the pull-tab.

For the hidden portion, I used a glittery orange paper for the cup; it's pumpkin spice season, after all! Here it is, with the tab pulled up:

Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers: L is for Lost and Found (Many years ago, I went through a Magic Card phase & created a template in SCAL; the file is on my removable hard drive, but it's small and I've consistently misplaced it when I want to grab those files. Happily, it was at hand when I made this card, although I was almost too lazy to take the time to deal with finding the template. It was worth using my template and just adding the coffee cup! Speaking of lost-and-found, I've never once been able to find this coffee bean die the first place I looked...it gets moved around. This time it was where it was supposed to be, which of course was the last place I looked!)

Miss You a Latte! -- Summer with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers

Happy Summer! A new season means a new Blog Hop with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers, and I always enjoy playing along. This time, I used the Hanging Charm Pull Tab die set from Karen Burniston/Elizabeth Craft Designs. It's in the mail to my folks right now!

The double-sided patterned paper is from BoBunny. The frame & coffee sleeve are cut from an actual cardboard coffee sleeve. The coffee cup is cut from shiny yellow, glitter yellow, and shiny green cardstocks. The sentiment & coffee bean stamps are from Stampin' Up. I added some dimension & detail with gold & red ViVa Pearl Pens. Because this card is sort of meant to lie flat, I put a message section directly on the back. Shows off that yummy paper too!
