Peace on Earth

I recently treated myself to the Birds of Earth & Sky die from Cheery Lynn Designs (bought from Sweet Stamps; great store!) and I've been trying to use them as much as possible. I was inspired by the gorgeous card by Lisa for the current Cutting Edge challenge, and although my version isn't as perfect as her's I sure had fun creating it.

I made the ovals in SCAL and cut them on my Cricut from a shiny white paper. I lined up the dove die and cut it six times (using my magnetic platform on my BigShot made this a lot easier). I colored the cut-out doves with Copic markers.

The "Peace on Earth" sentiment is heat-embossed in glittery white and I added detail to the letters with a glitter pen. The front, die-cut panel is attached with foam tape. The outer, scalloped oval is decorated with crystal Stickles.
