My steampunk accordion card was chosen as the Card Sketch favorite for the February challenge at Stick It Down, and I was invited to be a guest designer for their April Sketch Challenge!
This card was inspired by evenings spent crafting at our local library. The patterned paper is wallpaper that I got at one of their open crafting nights, and I used a technique that mimics Vinegar Painting, which I learned about there as well.
The frame and house are wood veneer pieces, and I heat-embossed the house with burgundy powder. The corners are cut with a Crafter's Companion die. The sentiments are stamps from my stash.

I used alcohol inks and rubbing alcohol to create the Vinegar Painting-inspired portions, using paint samples that we were given at the library demonstration.
