Beautiful Butterflies at OSAAT

SBDO October Prize Pack
This fortnight at One Stitch at a Time (OSAAT) our theme is Anything Goes with a Butterfly. StitchyBear's Digi Outlet (SBDO) has hundreds of digital products from many wonderful artists. Even if you don't use a store image, you'll still be in the drawing to win the super-duper October prize pack.

I used Fairy Flutter by Beary Dust, which is available at SBDO. Isn't she a cute little fairy?! I colored her with Copic markers. The butterflies are cut from an orange holographic plastic with an SU! Embosslits die.

The beautiful background paper is a DP from my stash. The layered sunflower was cut/embossed fomr a Core'Dinations cardstock. The sentiment, from TLC Creations, reads "You're Fairy Fabulous" and was cut with a PageMakers die.

Challenges:
Crafty Little Fairies: Use only one designer paper (2nd entry)
Emerald Faeries Challenge #60: Things with Wings
House of Cards: Punch and/or Die
Paper Shelter Challenge #178: Monsters/mythical beings (fairy)

Thank you for visiting, and hope you'll join us at One Stitch at a Time,

Just Sayin...Anything Goes at OSAAT

This week at One Stitch at a Time (OSAAT), our theme is Anything Goes. StitchyBear's Digi Outlet has hundreds of digital products from many wonderful artists, and if you use one of our products you'll be entered to win the super-duper main prize of 7 images! If you don't use a store image, you'll still be in the drawing to win a $3 gift certificate.

I had lots of fun with this Cutie by Beary Dust Stamps:
This image has bold shadowing, so I decided to use paper piecing rather than coloring. I did color her skin with Copics. I used some tulle to give her a fishnet top! I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts, I think) in Broken China distress ink. The notebook edging on top was cut with a Pagemaps die. I edged it with Tea Dye and Antique Linen distress inks.

The text-patterened papers are from a Bazzill set. I cut one sheet with a die from the same Pagemaps set. The background paper was sprayed with a blue Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

I painted some Prima wood shapes with white acrylic paint, and stamped the sentiment (Rogue Redheads Designs) with more Broken China ink.

Beary Best Wishes... Use a Digi Challenge at OSAAT

It's time for a "Use a Digi" challenge at One Stitch at a Time (OSAAT)! I love stamping, but digi stamps are so much fun too, and StitchyBear's Digi Outlet has hundreds from many wonderful artists.

This week, I get to show off this adorable Balloon Bear by Beary Dust Stamps:
The tiny balloons were cut on my electronic cutting machine using a cut file from SVGcuts.com's Premium Pop-Up Cards set. I used a shiny Recollections paper, and stamped them with wood-mounted rubber letters. I hand-drew the strings with a small PITT artist pen.

Everything is paper-pieced; the only thing I colored was the hot chocolate. I used Flower Soft's Teddy Bear collection to make the cute Teddy fuzzy!

I used the Sliding Treat Holder tutorial from Pioneer Party. You can see other treat holders I've made here.
