Tea in the Watercolor Garden at the UnstampaBelles

Our theme this month at the UnstampaBelles challenge is Tea in the Garden, with the optional twist of Watercolour Wonders. You need to follow the twist to be considered as the DT Favorite, but you only have to follow main theme to win our prize. And remember, no stamps!

I used watercolor paper and a die/embossing folder that came from a Papercrafting magazine. I colored the raised portions with Stampin' Up! watercolor crayons. I used the coffee cup sticker as a mask before watercoloring the background, and then removed some of the pieces to reveal the white paper. The sentiments are also gold stickers.

Be sure to check out the fabulous projects by my teammates the UnstampaBelles this month!

A Little Pickup -- Flowers at International Art & Soul

This fortnight at the International Art & Soul Challenge our challenge is Flowers.

I used a pickup truck Shaker card and die/stamp set from Jillbean soup to make this punny shaker card. I had lots of fun!

I filled the shaker with blue flower-shaped sequins, gold stars, and white flowers from Paper Sweeties. The pickup truck die is from Taylored Expressions.

Sketchy Ladybugs -- Guest Designer at Feeling Sketchy

My Nautical Dreamer card was a Top Pick for Feeling Sketchy #220, so I was invited to be a Guest Designer! They provided me with "Spring Ladybug" from StarStampz and their fabulous Sketch #222. I had tons of fun with both!

Spin Your Spurs! Embossing at International Art & Soul

This fortnight at the International Art & Soul Challenge our challenge is Embossing (heat or dry).

The cowboy hat & banjo are cut/embossed with a Cuttlebug/Disney set. I used a two-toned Core'Dinations cardstock and sanded the raised section to reveal the peach color. The spurs are made with a copper paper. I created the "Spin Your Spurs" sentiment with the Rosewood font. The patterned papers are from Cosmo Cricket and Graphic 45.
