My first post

Well, I am entering the blogosphere mostly in response to J's query, "are you facebooking your rennet experiments," posed during my morning general facebooking session.
Oh that seems boring, I said.
Ten minutes later I had created a blog, because who reads these anyway?
I'm thinking it will be great fun — like cheese-making!
