Ribbon-framed blossoms

Sunday night I was reading my blog feed and my imagination was sparked by the "Ribbon Frame" theme at Come & Get It Challenges. This is a new-to-me technique, and I just loved the example projects by the DT.

Just above the card in the background you can see our cherry tree in its version of full bloom; it has to fight for sun but gets stronger every year. And as it's in our yard, to me it's the most beautiful cherry tree in the world!

Come & Get It Challenges: Ribbon Frame Technique

Update: Many thanks to Cindy for choosing this card as her top pick for the Ribbon Frame Technique challenge at Come & Get It!
