Happy October! It's also time for a new challenge at Card Cupids, and this fortnight we have a Color Challenge for you: black, orange, purple, yellow, green, brown.
This challenge is running through October 14, but we're having another Challenge this weekend (October 6-7), which you'll definitely want to check out.
I used the Princess Jennifer Latte the Witch digi stamp by Jan Hunnicutt, available at The Stamping Boutique. I kept the design really simple to showcase this great image; doesn't she have so much personality‽
Much of this is actually paper-pieced; I printed the image on shiny paper (Recollections) and then heat-embossed it with Kaleidoscope powder. It's difficult to see in this photo, but there's a lot of shimmer! The witch's skin, hair, tights, and the pumpkin and the broom are the only bits that are colored on white cardstock.
For the inside of the card (left), I stamped/heat-embossed this cute "Boo" banner from Studio G, and included the adorable cat Smoochie, also from The Stamping Boutique.
Hope you'll join in with us for our Color challenge and be a Card Cupid! The only requirement for our challenges, other than the theme, is to send in at least one card to Card Cupids (the simple instructions are here). We're always getting requests for cards, so do check out the blog.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
There She Goes - No Patterned Paper
Songbird Challenges - Girls just wanna have Fun
My Craft Spot - Halloween
Totally Stampalicious - Anything Goes
A Gem of a Challenge - For the Girls This challenge is running through October 14, but we're having another Challenge this weekend (October 6-7), which you'll definitely want to check out.
