BINGO is the game-o

This week at Pile It On we have an especially fun challenge -- BINGO! This theme was suggested by DT member Beth, but, just between you & me, I was the one who got to make the actual BINGO card. It was really fun!

Pile It On Challenge #33
I made a card for my cousin who collects piggy-things, using this wonderful Pig Fairy On Fence digi by Pattie's Creations. I grabbed this digi for a challenge at The Crafter's Digital Art Center (CDAC) back in March 2011, but I never did get around to making a card back then. My folks are visiting my cousin & her family right now, so that seemed reason enough to make her a card! I used the middle horizontal row of the BINGO card: Rafia, Image, and a Tag.

I'm 90% sure this DP is from My Mind's Eye, but it might be Echo Park ... the label got cut off at some point.

Inspiration/Challenges:
  1. Clearly Inspired Challenge #57: Things with Wings
  2. Crafts and Me Challenge #96: Use a digi
  3. Cute Card Thursday Challenge #229: Tag You're It!
  4. Digi Doodle Shop Challenge #120: Things With Wings
  5. My Heart Pieces Digital Stamps Challenge: Use Designer Paper
Hope you'll join us this week and Pile It On! Thank you for visiting,

Anything Goes at Pattie's Creations, sponsored by Dude Time Doodles

Dude Time Doodles/Bonibleaux Designs is sponsoring this week's Anything Goes challenge at Pattie's Creations, and I couldn't resist merging their images to make a card.

The quilt is digitally paper-pieced with the Tiny Polka Dot digital papers from Mel Stampz; I used 5 colors, 10 papers, out of the many choices. Mel, you are awesome, thank you!  I picked the solid colors from the digi papers, using the Eyedropper tool in PhotoShop.

I generated the ticket in InDesign using this fun sentiment I grabbed quite a while back at Create with TLC (thanks Paulette!)The embellishments were inspired by the Bingo! challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge. I chose the right-hand column: Brads, Ticket, Ribbon/Twine.

Cletus, my favorite banjo player is colored with Copics. The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons, and the fuzzy brads are from Creative Imaginations (I've had these in my stash forever).

Hope you'll join us at Pattie's Creations, all you have to do is make anything ha ha!

Also, this week's Dude Time Doodles Challenge, All About Cowboys, runs through Tuesday (Mar 27), and DTD/BBD will also be sponsoring the Pile It On challenge starting Sunday (Mar 25). Have a crafty day & thanks for visiting!

Lucky me, I was the random winner of Pattie's Creations Challenge #35! Whoop whoop! I won 2 digi stamps of my choice (always so hard to choose!), so I used one of them (Sweet Nectar) to make this cheery card:

Have a sweet day everyone!

Update: This card made the Top 5 for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #145! Thank you!

Pile It On #04 - Add Lace

It's challenge time again at Pile It On! This week we're sponsored by Whoopsi Daisy, and so have the theme "Add Lace" to go with their sweet images. One lucky winner will receive their choice of 2 digi sheets their online shop. I chose this groovy gal from Sheet #261:

This is a Free Standing Pop-Up Card, but it's not really a card as there's no room for a message section!. Here it is closed:

I couldn't get any good light in the house today (and it's too gray outside), and some of the best light is in the living room. So Walt helped me with these photos :) Allen stood behind me & barked the entire time.

Challenges:
Pile It On #4 - Add Lace
Whimsical Designs - Anything Goes
Karen's Doodles - Paper Piecing
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Anything But a Card
Crafty Emma - Anything But a Card
Little Claire's - Anything But a Card
Pattie's Creations - Fancy Folds
Craft Your Passion - In the Bag/Box

I had so much fun making this. I've been saving this paper from  (I bought it from SP & Company as part of a $5 grab bag!), and I'm glad I used it for this. I printed the Whoopsi Daisy image along with this sentiment by Create with TLC as one piece, and then fussy-cut & colored another copy of the image. Her shirt & pants are printed onto Heidi Grace fabric. I added some embellishment with a glitter pen, and create the 3-D hair with a mix of yellow flocking & light brown FlowerSoft.

I masked the image and created a border with yellow Tattered Angels glimmer mist. I ran the the base piece through my sewing machine to create a zig-zag stitch.

Update: This card won the random prize for Pattie's Creations Challenge #35 - Fancy Folds! Thank you!
