Pilin' on Handmade Embellishments

The theme this fortnight at Pile It On is Handmade Embellishments. I used digital paper & digi stamps from the Sew Grateful set by our sponsor, Doodle Pantry. My handmade embellishments are the little buttons, which I die-cut from Shrinky Dink plastic.

I'll Never Desert You - Cards at Crafting with Dragonflies

This fortnight at Crafting with Dragonflies our theme is Any Card.

I used the Circle Step Card Tutorial by Beate for SplitcoastStampers to create a cut file in SCAL and cut it on my Silhouette Cameo.It's probably just as easy to do it by hand, though. I embossed the folded card with my Swiss Dots embossing folder in my BigShot. The desert scene is from Cricut's Campin' Critters Cartridge.

Reflected Flamingos in Love

I've been having lots of fun getting extra-inky, especially since I organized my inks. Today I used my
Recollections flamingo stamps/die set & the foam stamp technique. The water effect was made with a wetwipe.

Blissful Thanks

I'm attending a wedding this weekend and although I already made a card for the happy couple, I wanted to bring a few cards to thank our hosts.

I've been attempting to organize my craft stash, so I used some die cuts and a flower I've been hoarding for some time. The sentiment stamps are by Jennifer Ellory/Quick Cards & are stamped Quick Quotes & Veramark inks. I hand-shaped the petals of the pre-made rose, and made the decorative borders with a Martha Stewart punch I've had forever.

This card has a lot of dimension, so it will be good to give in person. Looking forward to seeing relatives, old & new!

Purple Cow - Monochromatic at the Crafter's Cafe

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge theme is Monochromatic. We're sponsored by Kitty Bee and My Stitch Back in Twine. I used this adorable Cow by Kitty Bee along with the familiar verse by Gelett Burgess. 

I used a double-sided DP and Karen Burniston’s Rectangle Pull Card die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs to create this pop-up card.
