As American Mother's Day is a week from today, this week's challenge at One Stitch at a Time is ... Mother's Day (but make sure you use a digi stamp)! I used Panda Love by Delicious Doodles to make this round & blingy card:
Inspiration/Challenges:
From time-to-time, we get to choose an image for ourself and a teammate; this week, I chose for both myself and Nataliya. Wait till you see her gorgeous card using this image!
The sentiment is a freebie I found online by Kate Pullen. It's difficult to see in these photos, but I added some detail to the sentiment with a Sakura glitter pen. I used foam pop-tape to mount the sentiment piece to a die cut. I wrapped the piece with a pretty black-and-white ribbon and added some gemstones.
Al the pieces are cut/embossed with a Spellbinders scalloped-circle die set. The white paper is a 65LB Core'dinations textured paper; the black paper is also Core'dinations, but a black/white sandable cardstock. I sanded down some of it to give it texture. I also added tons more gemstones!
