Chilly Penguin

I had so much fun making my Cardinal Card that I made another using the same Bird Assortment clear set stamp from Amy Smyth/Inkadinkado. There is definitely a chill in the air here in Baltimore, so I'm glad I can keep warm by crafting!

I stamped the penguin on a shiny black paper and heat-embossed it in black. I fussy-cut it (which can be a bit tricky with heat-embossing, as you don't want to crack it) and added detail with white flocking. I stamped the sentiment with black ink. The polka-dot papers are from a Recollections paper pack. I added some black-and-gemstone plastic ribbon.

Inspiration/Challenges:
AAA #21: CAS + Fussy Cuts (penguin is fussy cut)
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge: Anything goes as long as it's Christmas (2nd entry)
Whimsy Inspiration #75: Monochromatic

Thank you for visiting & inspiring my crafting!
