Can't believe it's already time for our monthly FREEBIE Challenge at Dude Time Doodles!
This month, you get a chance to work with Lord Money Man. There's a sentiment set that goes with this image that you might want to buy for the occasion (you can find it in the BDD store). If you don't get a chance to use the freebie for the challenge, you can buy the whole set for just $2.99!
Hope you'll grab this freebie and join us at Dude Time Doodles; the prize is a chance to join the Design Team for the month of May!
The sentiment is set in Eccentric Std. and I made the shape & border in InDesign. The border on the brown base card is actually hand-stamped in Memento black using the Stitchery Doo set from SP & Company. I colored the image with Copics & covered his monocle with Glossy Accents. The ribbon on his hat is paper pieced; I used Tattered Angels glimmer mist (Granite) to give it a sheen.
I made the paper for the rosette by photocopying 2 dollar bills (for length). This is perfectly legally, since I'm only copying one side (and it really looks almost real!) The rosette is cut with the TH die. Yes, that's a real penny I glued on top!
