I've admired the sketches at The Hybrid Chick for some time, but I haven't really had a chance to participate. I do like doing digital paper piecing and design, so I think making "hybrid" cards is right up my alley! Plus, they offer the sketch as a PSD (editable PhotoShop document) complete with layers, so it's almost too easy to participate!
I used the awesome Peter Rabbit CD-Rom from Crafter's Companion. It comes with a nice program as well, but for this I just pulled the files into PhotoShop. I'm hoping this is eligible for the Crafter's Companion April Challenge as I didn't use a physical stamp...I didn't think of it until after I made the card, but I did make it for the challenge. If you know me, you know that sometimes I get carried away!
This card is all digital, except for the ribbon; the ovals and sentiment are popped up on the card with foam tape (see side view below). I printed the base piece onto white linen cardstock. I got to play with the Drop Shadow effect too, which is always fun!
