One Stitch at a Time Challenge #103: Reused/recycled

This week's challenge at One Stitch at a Time is to include a reused or recycled item/s on your creation. So I pulled out my bag of recycling and the adorable digi stamp  "The Snowsuit" by Graphics Factory / StitchyBear Stamps to create a snowy card:

I made a shaker card; the plastic and blue background are from the packaging for a Sizzix Textured Impressions Value Kit (see example of the left). I was able to match the pattern and make my own patterned paper with the matching embossing folder. I filled the shaker with clear glass marbles, and edged the plastic with white ribbon.

The blue & white snowflakes on the top left are punched from a junk mail flyer. The other snowflakes are adhesive foamies that I've had in my stash forever.
